When it comes to our people and who we are, our connection to country is everything. And I'm a proud bunch of languageable white woman. My family come from the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. We need to think about what does it mean for us take children away from country. Country always sits within our children's hearts. That's one bit of advice that I would give to all children, young people, scared and afraid: You always have a place and you always have country.
