Jeff: The BBC is in deep crisis. There are very many Tory MPs who are apoplectic of what they see as a stitch up. If Bryant hadn't challenged it, listeners would have assumed that the Tory parliamentary party was split in half over whether they backed Johnson or not. I'm currently reading Lord Hailsham's memoirs, a Sparrow's Flight. It made me wonder if you've ever thought about focusing on notable peers on the podcast. And certainly an MP can go on to career in the Lords.
