Eric Liu: One of the insights that I think you draw out so powerfully is how this culture of critique, for example, often forecloses a culture of collaboration. Can we combine Barack's us and Bernie's them? And what is the profile of candidates who can speak in both of these languages at the exact same time or interchangeably? He says one of the answers was AOC; she seems to kind of loop back to something a little bit earlier. Liu: Is there a rising class of politicians who are more adept at balancing that kind of Obama and Bernie vibe?
