The Pros and Cons of Titanium Anodization

Titanium can be anodized using either heat or electricity. Electricity is the way Apple would go since it's highly repeatable and uses similar equipment to their current aluminium and otherization process. It's no guarantee that the pro phones will have any interesting colors, but it means that if they don't, it's, you know, Apple can't use the titanium as an excuse because the titanium frame can take color. And of course, everybody who's been around long enough remembers what happened when Apple made a laptop with titanium frame. The paint flaked off.
