Many of us at least are impatient biblicists, right? We're scripture loving Protestants committed in one way or another to sola scriptura. Many leading theologians who have written on justification have been very, very concerned to do justice to the biblical texts. And that's why it's very important to note that writers like Augustine and Luther were really wrestling with this text.
