The Simpsons - The Natural

Homer talks about his magic bat sheltering myself with a large piece of sheet metal i ran for cover under the tallest tree that i could find something told me this was a very special very magical piece of wood. The Simpsons is parroting in the natural you get the making of wonder bat and you get the smashing of the light fixtures with the home run. It's like this older man suddenly enters the major leagues where did he come from what are his goals what's his backstory but the way the movie tells you this story is very boring because the first 25 minutes is him as a younger man, sidelined by an assassin basically.
