Is There a Critical Distance Between You and Hong Kong?
I think I had a much better perspective with a bit of distance in terms of, you know, how I could place myself and ask in terms of this global conversation. Part of it is because of I didn't want to be ignorant. And that was why I was hyper focused on this one place. But at the same time, I do feel like it was one of those things really when you're in the place your entire life for so long, you really don't have critical distance. You sort of embrace not having critical distance.
