When we take such minor behaviour as evidence for a much bigger story, we have to suspect ourselves. This is the lowest form of attention someone could possibly give. Some one can be attracted to you, but not in any way be moved to do anything more about it. Maybe seeing lots of people, maybe they're just kind of lazy and aren't actually interested in investing anything right now. We almost don't need to worry about why someone is doing that. We need to do is see it for what it is, a level of engagement that shouldn't even be interesting to us. Our time and our energy is worth so much more than rewarding that level of investment with our analysis and our attention
