The Problem of Indeterminism Is a Falsehood
Most libertarians deny the premise that causation is a form of necessitation. They contend that there can be genuinely indeterminat causes. So if it really is the case that a determined action tho n cause actions, then it looks like undetermined actions are just matters of bock random occurrenc. That version of the problem makes a false assumption about libertarianism. But again, the problem of luck comes in many different versions. And the strategy of the book is distinguished those versions that seem worrisome but make false assumptions about libritarinism.
