What Is the Balen of a Whale?
A bowhead whale can live for more than 200 years, making it the world's longest living animal. Blue whales which have balen eat up to three thousand, 600 kilograms of shrimp every day - about the weight of a medium sized elephant. Bottle nosed dolphins are thought to be the most intelligent type of dolphin, and have a brain that's a similar size to human's. Oka, or killer whales, have also learnt to talk like dolphins. There is still a huge amount that isn't understood properly but what we do know is amazing.
