With cornary calcium scoring, we have the ability to say, there is disease, there is not disease. I've often found it sometimes a little bit difficult to express risk to patients with just a risk score. There's some evidence that mild increase an adherence to life style and pharmoclogicry can be achieved by using coronary calcium scores. But i'm wondering what personal experience is with patient perception when they do have access to coronary calcium and know their score. And second, if we have any data or literature pointing to changes in risk factor control after both the patient and the physician is made aware of their refined risk score?
