I've actually sat down with a number of these guys and it's I'm not being judgmental I'm just insanely curious about what they need to do to get there. People who are couch potatoes use those people as the counter example to why they don't want to do it so I'm more than happy to talk to the patient who's doing 90 miles a week of running and get them to back off. But yeah it shouldn't be used as the excuse to not do it for 99.99999 percent of people they don't even have the capacity to push as hard as those two extremes are pushing and they shouldn't worry about it, he says.
