Is There a Parent Friendly Parenting Approach to Reading?

i'm wondering if you can talk a bit about what are some of the ways that researches have trained parents to read with children. It seems as though, when i'm reading through these things, that the researchers typically train one set of parents on how to read with their children. And so it's sort of a process then, of providing support where it's needed, and then withdrawing that support as the child gets more competent,. Is that a good way of summarizing? Absolutely. That's that's really helpful.
