How to Write a Good Voiceover for an Episode

I write the script but it's very much in collaboration with everybody because very often I'll have an idea for the script and we'll do the interview and I'll write a script. Usually almost none of that first script makes it into the episode. It's just to sort of get it out of my head and also once you write it wrong it's sort of easier to look at be like don't do that do this. The kitchen sink cut which is everything that is possibly interesting from these interviews a lot of it's still going to get cut but it's usually anywhere  for episodes with guests that went to like the seven count.
