Sleep restriction therapy is going to limit the amount of time that you are allowed to be in bed. You don't start sleeping better immediately, at first you can still have just as bad sleep as you were getting before you started the sleep restriction therapy. As it takes time and you have to trust in the process, but slowly it will start to work.
