The Catholic Church's Attitude on the Science of Creation

According to paragraph 337 of the catechism of the catholic church, god himself created the visible world in all its richness, diversity and order. The sources of faith do not require us to hold that the world was literally created in a six day period just a few thousand years ago. It could be much older, or even younger. We'll therefore need to look further into the scientific evidence, which will be covering next episode.
