Lucky Girl Syndrome
There are so many cognitive biases that are involved in falling for and perpetuating something like Lucky Girl Syndrome. What I feel like this article is a bit of a smorgasbord of name that logical fallacy, it's name that cognitive bias. The first one that they draw attention to is something called positive illusion, which according to the American Psychological Association's online dictionary of psychology is a belief about oneself that's pleasant or positive regardless of its truth.
