Gloria Borger: I had read a study that said when people were distracted, they shifted their attention from one thing to another. It took them an average of 24 minutes to return to the thing they were doing; is that true or accurate? She says it's 25 and a half minutes on average to go back to an interrupted task. Borger: We're just draining because it requires effort to have to keep reorienting to these new tasks.
