The Last Time I Saw My Dad It Was That
I was only five when he died. And it's been a hard thing to deal with growing up. I find it very powerful to sort of access my dad through music and through this memory I had of his connection with pop music. So far so full of warmth. Well it's somehow the balloon is the tardest for me. The balloon is moving through time. In some parallel universe that balloon might one day land next to you now teenage daughter. But then we can't tell our kids about loss we have to sort of hold them through it.
