There's two big approaches that the government's pushing right now one is transparency and we've talked a lot about that today. The other approach is liability for writing insecure code or forgetting breached could absolutely put the brakes on transparency because no race gonna write you know be transparent about the fact that they got a bunch of vulnerabilities if they're going to get immediately sued for those vulnerabilities. I think the right approach is to double down on transparency i've been pushing this for decades it allows the market to solve the problem as opposed to creating a liability regime where people are going to have to get malpractice insurance for writing code and there'll be tort lawsuits, he says.
