Is There a Difference Between Demonic Oppression and Demonic Possession?

Sometimes people make a distinction between demonic oppression and demonic possession. I don't believe that one can be indwelt by the spirit and also indwelt in that way by a demonic entity. There are christians who are tormented by demonic presences. And when we're talking about exorcisms, i think that there is a role for an exorcism with a christian who is oppressed by demons. We should pray over those people, fast for them in that demonic oppression.
