The Problem With Puns and Headlines

I don't like puns and headlines because you know what it is. Because if someone made that joke in real life, you roll your eyes and be like, come on, dude. So I feel like any pun can be worked into a headline and people would just put it in, even if it's not funny or anything. They'll just put it. Uh huh. What about in the intro paragraph? It's better place for it, I think. Oh, man, I'd give them five.
