How to Encourage Dreaming With Children
Everyone has their own language of dreams and dreams can mean different things based on your own language. When you're working with kids in particular, how can you help them kind of unpack and make meaning of that language? I have a three-year-old nephew who's currently in the stage of his life where his storytelling really blurs fact and fiction. He told me that his stuffed animal, bow wow, tells him that he should eat him overnight. And like that was the extent of what he could tell me about what happened when he dreamed.
