"It didn't feel like it had as many a, you know, hooks or upgrades to make me feel like i was getting more powerful," says Russy. At a certain point of upgrading your arcad your dad starts giving you to do lists and he pays you actual direct money. "They're sort of creating a fake stress with the the chores that you have to do to make the playing of the games,. like that part is more immersive and not necessarily entertaining."
