The Lord's Relating to His People
One of the key words that's repeated throughout deuteronomy is, remember, remember. I would argue that that's even a significant biblical ideait has to do with the way that god relates to his people. And it's almost like you saying, i'm not going in with you, but i want you to remember what you have learned and respond accordingly. Restonda, gravs graorses command that's the thing and people often miss about the testament, is that even in the case of deuteronomy, this law is given after the great act of redemption has taken place.
