The Importance of Being Present

I think what you saw in the psychedelic experience will be colored by the emotion that's the strongest. So if there was a lot of loneliness and fear, which is really understandable, there might be this interpretation that reality is something like that. And so when that is confronted, it will produce this foundational fear of my existence. In a way, that's a big part of the collapse of that illusion.
