The Mystical Theology of Plato

In the Tameus, the one is subordinate to the forms. But in other passages, we have Plato speaking as if the one causes the forms. Many modern philosophers do not read Plato this way. They read him in more of a anti-theistic rationalist way. Even those people who have that reading admit that there are quite a few mystical and theological passages throughout the Platonic corpus.
