The Importance of Fitness Training Before Sprints

EPO eerythropoietin is what stimulates red blood cells. That's putting up your red blood cell count. And you've got the increase in blood volume, so you've got more oxygen carrying capacity. So that's putting upYour VO to max. Yeah. Do sprints require fitness training first? You know, there's a lot going on with them. They're not like windgate tests where you would normally do a windgate test. We use our inertial load ergometer and we measure maximal power very accurately using four second sprints. One of the first signs of overtraining is that maximal power is reduced.
