Platectonics - What Are the Tools?
One of the thrilling parts about looking back at the century is to see when they get the tool, whether it's the hubble space telescope or whether it's sonark. And think about all the things that have been discovered the deep ocean floor that we never knew about before. A hundred years ago, the vents, the plattitonics, was a big discussion in the early twenties. But we then created these deep diving vessels where people could go into them and see things they had never seen before. It's amazing to see how that one, one technology, or one innovation, can just open wide the doors of scientific inquiry.
