The Future of R-Ram Memory
analog R-RAM chips must be unusually precise since imperfections on the physical chip can introduce variability and noise. This issue makes it significantly harder for analog R- RAM devices to run AI algorithms, given that the accuracy of recognizing an image will suffer if the conductive state isn't exactly the same every time. Another major issue they had to solve involved the flexibility needed to support diverse neural networks. To support neural networks with bidirectional computation, extra wires and circuits were necessary.
