Is Bitcoin in Second Layers?

Is Bitcoin in second layers? Obviously not fully fleshed up, but fleshed to a point where it's okay to go work on these shiny objects because it acts as an additive feature like we were saying. New people who have never been using lightning or Bitcoin before are being onboarded on a noster and are now orange pill basically. I think the question is maybe there's some attention that's being taken away from certain Bitcoin development, but on the whole is a net positive for Bitcoin. That ability to exit via your private public keep pairs is an extreme check on the balance of powers.
