Solar farms that can concentrate electricity and store it as heat in molten salts could be a huge game changer. And then when you're dealing with that kind of scale, maybe it wouldn't be so crazy to have a giant power cable from a desert in north africa, through to europe. There are ways of taking either really high end approaches to this challenge, and then also just really clever, simple things as well.
