i brought this question up because deboke and i looked it up, and the the us da has thoughts on this. So the us d a categorizes mushrooms under other vegetables. And here are the categories of vegetables. Dark green vegetables, red and orange vegetables, r beans and peas. Ye, starchy vegetables, which y shouldn't count because they're basically just bread that grows. Other vegetables includes funguses, summer squash, alacado, one, iceberg lettuce. Avicato is a weird one. It's really hard to avica tois. Iceberg lettuc though, i think they put iceberg lettus in other in the first attempt, in a multi decade process
