The Mask of Adam, Adam and Eve

In 1738, over a hundred years later, the text was used as the basis for a very successful mask by the musician Thomas Arne. And that one ran continuously for 70 years. In 1745, the composer Handel provided a new musical arrangement for performance of the mask once again at Ludlow Castle. We're going to tie this into our next topic: Who is the Earl of Bridgewater?
