Stephen colbert talks about developing and inhabiting the character of stephen colbert. In some ways, they're a confession of some part of yourself that you would otherwise hidey. He says he chose to play an adult who is behaving in a childish way. We're trying to make bad moral choices at all points - i don't know if it was conscious but that's certainly what i'm embodying.
