Is There Such a Thing as Direct Knowing?

In Buddhism, there's this notion of a kind of direct knowing where you're sort of touching base with source versus conceptual knowing. And in the West, those really are not distinguished. There is no such thing as a 100% perfectly psychic person because again, we all have egos at different levels of development. If someone says jump off a bridge, do you do it? Or if like three people jump off a Bridge, does that mean you should do it? No, you should discern.
