The Imminence of God
If you start with the imminence of God, you will never get to the transcendence of God. Because that's already discarded. It's no gods within me. I don't need this stuff. And so there is a gradual rejecting and a stripping or you could say a flattening of Christianity. This is what Ratzinger is getting at in his introduction to Christianity and his spirit of the liturgy. These are two books that I just realized I had him in my audible library and I'm like, Oh, go.
