The Problem With Predictability
The more decisive you make, the more predictable you are. What Leibniz said is that I can predict exactly what God's going to do. He would never do the worse when the better was available. So does predictability conflict with freedom? And insofar as freedom is freedom to do what you desire and somebody knows what you desire, they can predict what you're going to do - which makes you less free. That's where the buck should stop.
