Mind wandering has been proposed as a mechanism explaining many, if not all, of the symptoms and impams of ADHD. It includes something we've talked about before that like boring named default node network, DMN,. Oh, it's the demon of the rain. In ADHD, theDMN seems to not switch off properly during a task when the TPN switch is on - leading to our minds popping in all directions. We'll see you in part two for some personal reflections.
