The History of the Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys released their fourth album, Black and Blue, in 2000. The group saw the darker side of fame, Consume A.J. McLean who went to rehab in 2001. In 2008, Lou Perlman was sent to jail for 25 years after he was convicted of running a 300 million dollar Ponzi scheme. Since the 90s, boy bands have come in all different forms, from Blink-182 to the Jonas Brothers and One Direction.
