The Image of God in Genesis 12
Dr. Gentry talks about how the image of God works through Genesis 1 through 11 and then leading us through the rest of scripture. He says that in the ancient Near East covenantal terms were used to describe a relationship between God and his creation or his creatures. The word likeness actually emphasizes we are copies of God in the sense that we are his sons and daughters, he says.
