The first stage of readiness to change or motivation for change is pre-contemplation. So clients that are in this stage, they are aware that there's something that kind of needs to change. And so people will always view this stage very differently and have no plan or intention whatsoever to change. The cost of benefits is like, it outweighs the actual experience that they're experiencing.
