Plato was a pupil of socrates, who tried to formulate the ideal society. Founded the platonist school of thought and a school called the academy. He ran his academy for nearly 900 years, which is almost every university that exists now. His belief in reason comes with a contempt for the real world. Sisky is quite scholastic, unworldly as it were.
