Dean Stockwell's Character in This Movie

This is based on a nevella originally by hp. Lovecraft, one way i think the movies is very different than the source material and has more suaveness in it. Dean stockwell plays a guy who is ultimately an occult creep whose affinities lie in other dimensions. For people not familiar with the sort of a house favorite, a doom metal stoner doome metal band, ah, but they actually sample this movie.
