Is SCSS the Most Common Sass Syntax?

The fact that SCSS is the most common sass syntax points out to me anyway, or is an indicator that people almost want to or are just using at times vanilla CSS. All our examples are available in both syntaxes. And so to me, this is indicative that we are indeed in the transition phase to the native platform or the vanilla platform taking over some of the functionality.
