Do the Fed Need to Rake Rates?
With the labor market as tight as it is, that means there are lots of jobs out there. However, inflation is high because demand is up in a really big way. The fed raises rates to cool the economy. When the labor market is this hot, when businesses are still booming, they need to slow the economy down and try to lower prices.
