The intellectual scene of the 19 sixties and seventies was really dominated by marxus, particularly altase an altesarianism. And er, you know, almost all critical theory that i read since i started art school,. way when, from benjamin onwards, was left wing critical theory fused with marxs, fused with psychoanalysis. So alse here had been the kand of pivotal figure there, combining marks with lican and am. You know, that was the dominant discourse.
