Commodity Markets - Is There a Put-Scue?

I was wondering whether that's simply because for risky assets like stocks, we're stock indices, when they go down, fall tends to go up. Whereas for commodities, I'm not sure what the relationship is. In oil, you have probably a lot more upside risk that's quicker with geopolitical risk kind of being built into the market. It varies also because producers use a lot of options in crude. So how that bounces around depends on the amount of demand for producers on the hedging basis.
