Baptism is as an appeal to god. So it's not baptism, it's s not the act. It's not like your sins aren't forgiven and you're not yet generated until you get in the water. Denotes baptism as the visible expression of this larger reality. Would you be willing to make the same proposition? Faith saves us, but faith is not the cause of our salvation.
