The Future of Telemetry
Open telemetry is very limited right now to, you know, metric traces and logs. There's a lot of like effort going on for eBPF. By using open telemetry, we want to be able to produce our telemetry data in the same format as well. We're looking at cases where it can be produced as a vendor agnostic so we can push that data elsewhere. And I think like I came to a realization a couple of years ago that being a cloud provider is really like being a telemetry provider, in some sense.
